Definitions

Brunswick does share information internally within our own divisions and brands, and with certain third parties. These third parties are our business partners and contractors, and they are bound by contracts, agreements, and monitoring to ensure that your data is treated with utmost protection and respect. Each third-party is carefully vetted, to ensure that they have adequate protection in place to protect your data before we agree to work with them.

How Does Brunswick Share My Personal Information?
CROSS BORDER TRANSFERS
Brunswick is headquartered in the United States and thus collects and processes personal data in the United States.
To transfer data from the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) to other countries the law requires that we maintain a high standard of protection for the data.
By using the Sites or providing us with your personal information, you are transferring your personal information to us in the United States.
Please be aware that (1) the United States may not provide the same level of protection of personal information as in your country, state, or jurisdiction of residence or nationality; (2) EU authorities have determined that, in some circumstances, the United States does not provide an adequate level of protection for personal information, and (3) when transferred to the United States, your personal information may be accessible by, or otherwise made available to, United States authorities and officials pursuant to judicial and/or administrative orders, decrees, and demands, and/or other domestic laws, statutes, and regulations, applicable in the United States.

Standard Contractual Clauses & Data Processing/Protection Agreements. Where appropriate, Brunswick has created and entered into Data Processing or Data Protection Agreements with third parties to ensure the appropriate transfer of your personal information. In the EU and EEA, those agreements incorporate Standard Contractual Clauses (“SCCs”), which have been approved by the European Commission as an adequate means of protection when transferring personal data outside of the EU and EEA. Brunswick, as well as its affiliates, divisions, and subsidiaries rely on these SCCs for data transfers.

Brunswick respects your privacy and takes its privacy obligations seriously. We are committed to the principles and requirements of applicable privacy regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)/ California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We work hard to ensure that your data is secure and processed in a fair and lawful manner.

Retention of Your Personal Data
Brunswick retains all personal information for the duration of the relevant business relationship and the length of any applicable warranty and statutory limitation period pursuant to a contract or under local laws. This retention is performed in accordance with Brunswick’s information management policies and schedules, as well as the period required by tax and other applicable laws and regulations; and as long as it is necessary for you to be able to bring a claim against us and for Brunswick to be able to defend ourselves against any legal claims. However, we may need to retain personal information for longer periods if it is relevant to an on-going claim or investigation.
