Renewable World

Renewable World believes that clean, reliable energy is critical to education, water, health, agriculture, and business. Energy poverty is one of the largest barriers families face in many communities. Statistics show that 1 in 9 people lack access to electricity, 1 in 3 people lack access to clean cooking, and 1 in 10 people lack access to clean water. Renewable World works to address all of this by working to provide reliable energy to rural communities around the world.

Renewable World is able to provide clean, affordable and reliable energy for last-mile communities thanks in part to multiple RB48V300 batteries donated by RELiON. They light homes, power businesses, pump water for drinking, sanitation, and irrigation, and reduce the harmful effects of kerosene use.

While providing clean and reliable energy is crucial, Renewable World also works to create a network of active, engaged, and skilled citizens that make the most of their new technologies. Whenever they are implementing new renewable technologies they also integrate a training program. They work alongside the community from beginning to end as an equal partner ensuring lasting change.
