Which RELiON batteries do you use and what for?

"I use the RB100-HP for my cranking battery and two RB100 batteries to power my 24V trolling motor."

What has been the biggest benefit(s) you've seen when switching to lithium?

"The biggest benefit has simply been the stable power output, whether it's the beginning of the day or after a long day on the water in windy or rough conditions.

Next, is the weight reduction compared to that of lead-acid or AGM batteries. I do see some benefit in performance, especially hole-shot but the biggest benefit comes with maintenance. I do all of the service work and maintenance on my own and removing and installing the batteries is a must and it sure beats lifting 85lb AGM's vs. 33lb RELiON's."

Why did you choose RELiON?

"I chose RELiON because I wanted a recognized and established company with a dedicated service and troubleshooting team in case it was needed. Lithium may be becoming widely used now but when I decided to go lithium there were only so many options. The sales group at RELiON helped me with my purchase and helped me come up with a battery configuration that would best suit my needs and so far I couldn't be happier with my decision. What advice would you give to someone thinking about switching to lithium?

"Making the switch to lithium was not an easy decision, there are a major up-front costs, so make sure you speak with a representative and go over your application and let them help you to make the best decision based on your needs. Your needs may also grow as you do so set yourself up in a way that makes sense, RELiON has a lot of options to choose from."
