Growing Home

Started in 2002, Growing Home is a USDA-Certified Organic urban farm, workforce development center and non-profit social enterprise in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. They serve the community through paid innovative employment training and local, healthy, affordable food. By providing 25 hours per week of paid on-the-job experience and job-readiness at their farms, plus the support to conquer issues like criminal records, medical needs, childcare and housing, they’ve changed the lives of hundreds of workers and thousands of their family members.

RELiON has partnered with Growing Home as a sponsor for their Circle of Change initiative. The Circle of Change initiative supports the general operating budget for Growing Home’s essential programming like their food access and employment training programs.
