Darren Massey

Technical Support Specialist

After growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Darren spent a couple of years in San Diego, CA before moving back to his hometown about an hour north of Seattle, WA. He worked as a hookup technician for a major international boatbuilder, for 13 years, learning all aspects of boat building, and as a hookup lead, Darren was able to learn all aspects of their electrical systems. He then moved to a technical support role for 10 years in the inverter charger industry. This has all prepared him for his role at RELiON as a technical support specialist. As our customers are asking Darren questions about our batteries, he can visualize what our customer is working on, whether it is on a marine application, RV, or Off-Grid cabin or home or any electrical system, and help them accomplish their goal or just help clarify how RELiON LiFePO4 batteries can fit their needs. When not helping our customers, Darren loves spending his time near, on, or in the water with his family.

  • I challenge my limits by: Spending as much time as possible with my family finding new and fun things to do together.
  • My favorite RELiON application: I would have to say marine, I get to live vicariously through our customers.
