Birds of Prey Rehabilitation
The Carolina Raptor Center’s mission includes environmental education, the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned raptors, and environmental stewardship. The organization's science education programs serve over 27,000 students each year in formal education settings. On property, there is a ¾ mile Raptor Trail and environmental education center. Carolina Raptor Center is in the process of expanding this trail and a new welcome center was just recently built.
RELiON is excited to be a part of Carolina Raptor Center's expansion and will be sponsoring a new enclosure for a Red-Tailed Hawk. Some members of the RELiON team are also looking forward to helping build the actual enclosure in a few months.
