The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation has provided more than $20 million in support for the Blue Ridge Parkway since 1997. One of the foundation's first projects was the construction of the visitor center at Waterrock Knob. This visitor center hosts an interactive exhibit highlighting many elements of the high-elevation ecosystem from black bears to bugs and buds.
RELiON donated batteries to upgrade the power system at the Waterrock Knob visitor center. They recently had a ribbon-cutting ceremony to reveal the updates and we are excited to hear about the improved performance with the new batteries.
