Chris Brown
Born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, Chris Brown grew up fishing with his uncle and grandpa for as long as he can remember. He never dreamt that he would be able to turn his hobby into a lifelong career. Throughout his now eighteen years working in the fishing industry, Chris took advantage of opportunities to work on film crews and eventually taught himself photography. From his role as Marketing Director for Strike King Lure Company to becoming the President of the Anglers’ Channel, Chris has been able to successfully merge his passion for photography and media with his passion for fishing.
After spending countless days on the water, moving from tournament to tournament to capture images and videos of top anglers, Chris noticed more and more of his professional angler friends transitioning to longer-lasting, lighter and fast charging RELiON lithium batteries to stay competitive. Chris’s Ranger Z521L bass boat uses three long-lasting, energy-dense RELiON RB100 batteries to power his trolling motor. “I knew some professional anglers who had made the switch from lead-acid to lithium and I knew they didn’t have to constantly monitor their energy use like I was having to with my lead-acid batteries. Since I use the batteries on my boat to power both my fishing as well as my media work all day every day, reliable, long-lasting power was essential. I grew tired of worrying about whether I’d have enough energy left to fish, work, and also make it back to the shore each day.”
